Notes

• 1880 Census notes that both of John Slook Jr's parents were born in Pennsylvania. This contradicts the LMD Packet which indicates that John Slook Jr's father John Slook was born in Germany. For the moment, I am going with the information provided in the family packet.
• I do not have definitive proof that the John Slook referenced in the 1844 Public School book is the same John Slook, other than the fact that "John Slook" seems to be a relatively rare name, this is the right part of Philadelphia (I think), and it was too early to be John Slook Jr. So this seems to be a reasonable inference.
